The embroidery pieces I do are usually pretty small and they have consequently been slightly troublesome to photograph.
By happy accident I discovered that sitting them on top of my ‘design’ doodles and snapping them that way was easier than making them the only subject in the image. The design doodles also have the possible added bonus of distracting from any embroidery ineptitude. Next step: tackling the beast that is Photoshop.
